Kevin Newell 40, of Indianapolis passed away at his home on April 26, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Sally Newell; sons Carson Joseph Newell and Landon Scott Newell; mother Kay Newell; father and mother in-law Wayne and Ann Wall; sister in laws Sarah (Scott) Ladd, and Angie (Shanon) Redmon; n ieces Sophia Redmon, Amelia Ladd, and Claire Ladd; nephew Chase Redmon; and his faithful Golden Retriever JJ Luck Newell. Kevin was preceded in death by h is father Rick Newell and grandmother Mildred Adwell.

Kevin was the 1996 IHSAA Indiana State Golf Champion and qualified for the US Amateur Golf Tournament in 1997.  He attended Jackson State University on a full ride scholarship, and afterwards he played on the professional golf circuit for several years.  Most recently, Kevin has owned and operated Innovative Cleaning Group for more than a decade.

Kevin's passion in his life was his family, and he knew no strangers.  He always had a smile on his face, a joke to tell, and saw the positive in every situation.  He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother-in-law, and friend.  He dedicated himself to "raising his sons as strong, respectful young men"and poured himself into coaching his sons' sports teams.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 30th from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 1st from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S. State RD135, Greenwood, Indiana.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday May 1st at 10:30 AM at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
