L. Joyce "Tootsie" Sutton, age 88 of Remington, IN died on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at her residence. Born July 23, 1921, she was the daughter of Leslie and Carrie May (Muster) Hamilton. She was married to James Cornelius Sutton. Joyce was a member of the Mount Pleasant Christian Church and was a member of The Guild, where she was a dancer. She enjoyed square dancing, shuffle boarding, making porcelain dolls and was a girl scout leader. She was a wonderful mom and grandmother helping to raise her grandchildren while the family worked the farm. She is survived by a son, 2 daughters, 1 brother, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Services will be at 11:00am Monday, August 24, 2009 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorials can be made to the Jasper County Hospice Foundation, 1104 E.
