Larry Michael "Mike" Board passed September 22, 2022 at the age of 78, in his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Mike came out a hero and stayed strong until finally resting in the comfort of the Lord.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, November 20, 1943 and graduated from Warren Central High School in 1961. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked in the Glass, Glazing and Architectural Metal industry for over 40 years, primarily at Circle City Glass Corporation.
Mike is survived by the love of his life, Beverly Narmore Board; his children: Heather Board Rogers and Clint Board; his grandchildren: Kali Wever Warwick (David), Max Wever, Carly Board Garrison (Matt) and Dade Board as well as his sister, Marianne Besett.
He is preceded in passing by his parents, John and Rosemary Board; his daughter, Jodi Board Wever and his brother John David Board.
Mike will be deeply missed for his unwavering joy, love for others and charming personality.
Mike will be honored at a Celebration of Life gathering from 1:00 until 5:00 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Church 52, 8220 Brookville Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46239.
