Mr. Larry Eugene Schwartz, Greenwood, passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was 75. Larry was born May 25, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a son of the late Kenneth E. and Laura Bell (Shelburn) Schwartz.

After graduation from high school in Indianapolis, Larry answered the call to duty and proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He also was employed as a tool maker at Euclid Machine Company in Indianapolis for the past 28 years. Larry was a collector and enjoyed watching historical and old Civil War movies. He was also a huge fan of Westerns, especially those starring John Wayne. In his spare time, Larry could usually be found looking for 'treasures' with his metal detector. He also loved driving his pride and joy, his Ford Mustang. Larry also loved his dogs and caring for them. He was also an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts and especially Peyton Manning.

Larry was a member of the American Legion in Indianapolis.

Larry is survived by his children, Daniel (Gail) Schwartz, Michael Mickley and Brian (Amber) Shannon; his grandchildren, Anthony (Diana) Schwartz, Chelsea Schwartz, Keith Schwartz, Mike (Misty) Mickley, Rachel (Mike) Gipson, Sharri Bristow and Travis Bristow; his great-grandchildren; Evan McCullough, Caleb Schwartz, Jenna Schwartz, Logan Mickley, Autumn Mickley, Nevaeh Knight, Dakota Knight, Brandon Mickley, Gage Twitty, Raiden Twitty, Layla Twitty and Aspen Bristow; his siblings, David (Janet) Schwartz  Keith Schwartz, Beth Ann (Harry) Lawson and Terri (Dennis) Chambers as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his wife, Doris Schwartz; his daughter, Juanita Bristow; a grandchild, Shannon Mickley as well as his great-grandchildren, Kelsey Foncannon, Bryce Foncannon,  Kayla McCullough and Andrew Schwartz.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
