Larry Eugene Sodrel, 82 of Greenwood passed away on April 14, 2019. Larry was born in Perry County, IN on November 30, 1936 to Noah Sodrel and Ruth King. Larry will be remembered for the hard working, generous, fun loving family man he was. Larry enjoyed playing cards, especially Texas Hold-em and Eucre, hunting and fishing. He liked to sing karaoke and loved music. Larry enjoyed watching sports, especially, Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame Football, IU Basketball and the LA Dodgers. Larry began working for Sodrel Trucking, retiring in 1988; later having worked for Johnson County Access, retiring in 2012 following the death of his beloved wife, Marie. In retirement Larry cared for his elderly family, including his father and uncles.  Larry was a devoted family man and was sure to teach his children the value of hard work by devotion and love. He will be greatly missed.

Larry is survived by his children, Gene (Christina) Sodrel, Karen (Steve) Spall, Sherri (Tony) Negri and Beth Wilson; siblings, Donald Sodrel, Billy King, Connie Ball, Charlene King, Jane Mathena, Darlene Farrington and Ron Sodrel; grandchildren, Kathy Hicks, Jennifer Riffle, Melissa Martin, Chris Farmer, Alexa Brugh, Danny Spall, Aaron Negri, Kristina Vest, Austin Wilson and Brendan Wilson; 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
