Laura Nell Rittenberry, age 74, passed away Friday in Indianapolis. She was born Oct. 8, 1935 in Edmonton, KY to Porter and Elvira (England) Smith, who preceded her death. She was a homemaker, an avid reader ,and loved puzzle books and her grand and great grandbabies. She married Fred Rittenberry, December 21, 1952, and he survives, along with their children; son, Fred Jr.(Beverly), of Indianapolis, daughters, Becky(Cary) Smith, of Bradenton, FL and Sandy (Casey) Kosior, of Indianapolis; brothers Maxie,(Carolyn), of Burksville, KY, James,(Gladys), of Edmonton, KY, George,(Agnes), of Indianapolis and Paul (Barbara)Smith, of Indianapolis, as well as sisters, Aline Mitchell, of Indianapolis, Irene (Dan) Allen, of Jackson, KY, and Sue (Randil) Vibert, of Frankfort, IN; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with services at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 :00pm. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
