LaVaughn M. Vollmer, age 79, of Leesburg, FL., formerly of Indianapolis, passed away June 2 at her home. She was born Jan. 3, 1931 in Indianapolis to Clifford and Nellie (Owens) Devine. She married Eugene Vollmer in Dec, 1951, and he survives her. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and bowling with her daughter, Karen Vollmer, of Leesburg, as well as spending time with her family; sons Stephen(Laura), of Indianapolis, Gregory (Paula),of Sacramento, CA and Douglas Vollmer, of Stockbridge, GA. She is also survived by her brother Harry Devine, of Indianapolis, and sister, Anna Atherton, of Indianapolis; 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow. Visitation will be on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. at the funeral home.
