Leah V. Nichols, 91, a resident of Greenwood passed away from this life May 3, 2017 at Aspen Trace Senior Living. She was born November 11, 1925 in Freetown, IN.

Leah was the daughter of the late Frank Mann and Marie Davis of Seymour, IN. She graduated from Freetown High School. Leah was married to the late Robert E. Nichols Sr. She retired from Eli Lilly in Indianapolis in 1981. Leah was a member of Saint Thomas Church, Greenwood American Legion, Phi Beta Si Sorority, Eastern Star, VFW and the Moose Lodge. She loved to play cards and was in several card clubs in Greenwood. She was a home owner on Lake Lemon since 1960.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Pavey earlier this year.

Leah is survived by her son, Robert E. (Melody) Nichols; step sister, Loretta Riehl of Seymour; step brother, Leroy Davis of Seymour; and grandsons, Rob Nichols and Chris Nichols of Greenwood, IN.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 7 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8 at 10:00 am, also in the funeral home.
