Leana Iola Cosat, 92 of Carthage, IN passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born on December 29, 1930 to the late Speed and Wanedyth Bass.

She was married to the love of her life, Bill Cosat, for 50 years prior to his passing.  She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. She loved mowing her yard, doing yard work, re-reading Gone With the Wind and Scarlett, and listening to Frank Sinatra. She enjoyed watching her great grandchildren play and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two children Marc (Judy) Cosat and Jeanne Ann (Roger) Trimm; three grandchildren - Jason, Ross, and Caleb; and four great grandchildren - Maxine, Jett, Harper, and Norah. Leana is preceded in death by her husband, parents and three siblings.

Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2023 from Noon until the time of service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Ben Franklin Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the Ben Franklin Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
