Lena Carter, 85 of Indianapolis passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 28, 2024. She was born to the late Garland and Lora Cline.

Lena loved doing puzzles and going to the casino to play poker. She loved being with people and telling jokes. Lena married the love of her life William "Neal" Carter on September 21, 1957, he precedes her in death.

Lena is survived by her daughter Sheila (John) Daniels; one granddaughter Kyla (Kenny) Brameier and three siblings Pat Cline, Nelda Smith and Wilma Stephens. She is proceeded in death by both parents; husband Neal Carter (2010) and eight siblings Kenneth Cline, Polly Canada, Bill Cline, Cursh Cline, Roy Cline, Bear Cline, Margert Stover and Archie Cline.

Visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2024 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside service will be Saturday, July 6,2024 at 11:00AM  Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
