Obituary

Leo "Shug" Herrington, of Indianapolis, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove. He was born on November 8, 1930 to Oscar and Nina Wade Herrington. He was a Veteran of the U.S. States Army during the Korean Era. He was employed as a Manager of Aero Drapery, enjoyed working on guns and cars and took pride in being a backyard mechanic. Survivors include his wife: Eva Brown Herrington, two children: Theresa (Kenneth) Jenkins, Michael (Kimberly) Herrington, three step-children: Deborah (Wilbur) Dwenger, Eugene (Becky) Branham, Sheila (Randy) Allee, two sisters: Bonnie Mansfield, Rosie Vaughn, five grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, one great grand daughter, twenty step-great grand children. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers: Aubrey, Clevo, Leonard, Dennis, Earl B. Herrington. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
