Leroy Fuqua, 81, of Indianapolis, passed away March 22, 2016. The son of Marcus Otto and Lillie Mae Reid Fuqua, Leroy was born July 21, 1934 in Lafayette, Tennessee.

He had worked for American Can Company, was a member of Mooresville F&AM #78, Murat Shrine and Order of Eastern Star. Leroy enjoyed watching car shows and did small engine repair.

Leroy is survived by his wife, Peggy Gilmore Fuqua of Indianapolis; sons, Michael B. Fuqua of Indianapolis, Roger Couch, Jr. of Lafayette, IN and Terry A. Couch of Indianapolis; daughters, Joyce (Al) Garrison of New Whiteland and Ronda L. (Dwight) Peavey of Beech Grove; sister, Martha (Charles) Burge of Ninevah; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren.

Services 10:00 a.m. March 28, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. March 27, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
