Linda Kay Carter, 69, of Beech Grove passed away June 30, 2018. She was born in Bremen, Indiana to Robert L. Richmond and Betty L. Richmond (Hartzell) on November 5th, 1948. She was raised in Nappanee, Indiana where she graduated from Nappanee High School in 1967.

She married Michael Carter on September 1, 1973 in Nappanee, Indiana at the Nappanee First ​​Church of God.

She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, reading, spending time with her family, and took great pride in being a nana to her 3 grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Richmond; mother, Betty L.. Firestone and brothers, Steve Richmond, Roger Richmond, and Randy Richmond.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; daughter, Sheila Borden; son, Brian (Lora); brothers, Bill Wilson, James (Patricia) Wilson, and Thomas (Erin) Wilson; grandchildren, Brandon Borden, Audrey & Evelyn Carter and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 12:30 pm in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood.
