Linda Lou Collins Birchem, 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013. The daughter of Delbert Gordon and Reva Adeline Williams Collins, Linda was born April 28, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was a homemaker. Linda enjoyed going to the casinos and loved traveling with her family.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Matthew) Douglas of Mooresville; son, Andrew Birchem of Indianapolis; brother, Delbert Gordon Collins, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sisters, Ruth Casteel of Whellersburg, Ohio and Barbara Garrett of Long Beach, Mississippi; grandsons, Collin and Peyton Birchem and Alex Douglas; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Birchem and sisters, Patricia Green and Shirley Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
