Linda Mae Duty, 77,of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away July 7, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Virginia to the late Luther and Opal (Fraley) Duty on July 27, 1942. Linda worked in Food Service for many years. She was the owner of the first Mexican restaurant in Greenwood for over 12 years. Linda was v ery devoted and loved her Church of Latter Day Saints, where she was a member for several years. She loved her extended family and they will all miss her dearly.

Left to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters; Danielle Contreras and Tracy (Wilson) Cisneros, 2 brothers; Luther "Sonny" Duty Jr., Baby brother Timothy Duty, her sister Mary Ann Tackett, 12 grandchildren; Andre, Kaila, Donavan, Miguel ( Baleigh ), Torian , Abraham (Brenda), Raina , Carlos, Mariana, Emma, Santiago and Hannah, 4 great grand children; Alyss , Azalea, Atreus , Ariel, best friend Dixie, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her brother "Big Jerry" and a grandson Kelly.

Services for Linda will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at 2PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S. St Rd. 135 Greenwood, IN 46143. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home. In Linda's memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Latter-Day Saints, 900 E. Stop 11 Indianapolis, IN 46227.
