Linda Marie Emberton, 73, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2011. Linda was born on October 23, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Frank and Beulah (Young) Thompson.
Linda was a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of Garfield Christian Church.
Linda is survived by her loving husband J.D. Emberton of 42 years; her children: Vicki Loichinger (Dave), Cathy Lewis (Lance), Danna Strain (David), and James Shepherd (Michele); and step-children: Kimberly Willever and Paul Emberton (Dorena); sister Reba Smith; 10 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; and 1 step-daughter.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m.
