Linda Lou Hobbs, Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. She was 66 years old.
Linda was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Charles and Geneva Clark.
She is survived by her loving siblings: Karen Bailey, Patricia Wilezyk, Rhonda Doty, Lillie Clark, Rebecca Gore, and Mike Clark, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.
At the young age of 13, Linda began working at her father's company, Special Dispatch. Through dedication and vision, she eventually took the helm and served as president for more than 30 years, growing the business exponentially. Linda and Special Dispatch were frequently featured in the Indianapolis Business Journal, and she earned numerous awards, including recognition as the top woman-owned business in the courier industry.
Linda lived life with boundless energy and a true zest for adventure. She loved God with all of heart . She was a certified scuba diver, an avid golfer and racquetball player, and loved hiking, camping, bird watching, photography, shopping, singing, and American Sign Language.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Geneva Clark; and her siblings, Jenny Swartz, Donna Brown, Ronnie Clark, and David Clark.
Services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana, on Friday, November 28, 2025.
Visitation for immediate family and close friends will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., with public visitation from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed immediately by burial.
