Linda Mae Edmond, 65, passed away January 21, 2015 at her Indianapolis residence. The daughter of Norma Spencer Barney and Harland King, Linda was born June 27, 1949 in Milan, Indiana.

After 29 years, she retired in 1999 from Eli Lilly and Co. as an Administrative Assistant. She enjoyed golfing and traveling.

Linda is survived by her husband, James of Indianapolis; children, Jeff (Mindy) Davis of Indianapolis and Carolyn (Dave) Greenwald of Bloomington; stepchildren, Tony Edmond of Beech Grove and Tonya Kelley of Indianapolis; mother, Norma Barney of Indianapolis; brother, Paul (Teresa) Wallick of Indianapolis; sister, Terri (Russell) Thayer of Ainsworth, Nebraska; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and her dog, Jewel. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Windy Wallick.

Rev. Russell Thayer will conduct funeral services 1:00 p.m. January 25, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. January 24, 2015. Entombment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
