Linda Charlene Wilde, 70, of New Whiteland passed away at home Saturday, September 26.  She was born February 17, 1950 in Indianapolis to Charles and Rosie Rosetto.

Linda married the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Wilde, August 9, 1969 and together raised four children.  She was a member of the New Whiteland Christian Church, and in her spare time loved to play BINGO.  Linda loved black bears and had quite a collection of them in her home.  She was very family oriented, having grown up with 5 siblings.  She was a great wife, mom and grandma; the glue of the Wilde family.  Linda was strong-willed and stubborn, but could light up a room with her smile.  She loved her family fiercely, just like a Momma black bear would.  She will be greatly missed.

Linda will be fondly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Wilde; children, April Wilde, and Jerry Wilde; siblings, Charles Rosetto, Lloyd Rosetto, and Marilyn Coffeey; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas Rosetto, and Gary Rosetto; and children, Kevin Wilde and Michelle Bridges.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 30 from 3:00 - 7:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135. Greenwood, IN  46143.  Funeral service will be Thursday, October 1 at 10:00am, also at Forest Lawn.
