Linda Lou Shreve, Avon, passed away on the evening of October 5, 2022. She was 71 years old. Linda was born in Indianapolis to her parents Jess and Lucille Shreve. She graduated from Ben Davis High School. Linda worked as an administrative assistant for the FAA and retired after 41 years of service in 2011. Linda enjoyed traveling and reading. She was a member of the women's club Beta Sigma Phi and made wonderful friends while involved in the sorority. Beta Sigma Phi awarded Linda the prestigious Woman of the Year Award in 1993. She was a member of the Hendricks County Senior Club for many years as well. She loved attending family holidays and was always known to be a fierce animal lover. The memories created will be cherished by those she leaves behind. Linda is survived by her brother, Larry (Carrie) Goodbar; her nieces and nephews, Robert (Cassie) Goodbar, Robin (Shawn) Douglass, and Dawn (Dean) Miller; her great nieces and nephews, Zach, Samantha, Derek, Garrett, Bailey, Grayson, Justus, Madison and Titus; her great great nieces and nephews, Addison, Noah, and Maxwell.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made in Linda's honor to the ASPCA.

The visitation will be on Monday October 31, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm. The Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1:30 pm. Linda will be laid to rest at 2:30 pm following the services.
