It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda White, who departed from this world on January 28, 2024. Linda died peacefully in her home, enjoying her favorite Sunday activity: watching NFL football.
Linda was born July 11, 1947 to Earl and Katherine David. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Steven and Roger.
In 1967 Linda married her high school sweetheart, William White, whom she affectionately called "Bubby". Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life as true partners.  Their 57 year marriage was filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
In the later years of her life, Linda embraced the role of "Mimi" with unmatched enthusiasm.  Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy and pride, and she cherished each moment spent with them. Her legacy as a loving matriarch will continue to thrive through the family she leaves behind.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, William White; son, Jason White and his wife Shannon; son, Adam White and his wife Lori; and her grandchildren, Allison, Mylan, Benjamin, Michael, Sean and A.J.
She is also survived by a strong circle of friends who will forever remember her kind heart, feisty spirit and infectious laugh.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Monday, February 5, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution in Linda's honor, the family has suggested those be offered to the American Heart Association.
