Lois Virginia Miller, 91, of Indianapolis, died May 19, 2014. She was born on August 30, 1922 to Harry and Vera Martin. In 1939 she married Charles A. "Buck" Miller, who preceded her in death in 1988. Lois loved her family, which includes four children (Connie Basso, Donna Roberts, Charles D. Miller, and Linda Preston), six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was always there to help any of them if needed. They were her pride and joy. She was also proud of her work at Dady''s Supermarket, where she worked for over 20 years, and later at American States Insurance, which she retired from in 1987. Over the years she enjoyed attending Bingo at the VFW, karaoke at Knights of Columbus, and horseraces. She loved having flowers in her yard, on the porch, and in the house year-round.
No services will be held, as per her wish. Interment is at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
