Lois Ann Morris, age 80, of Greenwood passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 with her loving family at her side. She was born June 17, 1935 in Goodland, IN to Fremont and Mary (Ellsworth) Stombaugh. Lois was a graduate of Goodland High School, Goodland, IN with the Class of 1953 and she worked as a Genealogist for the Indiana State Library. She was an avid reader and she loved to play BINGO. She loved spending time with her family and she will be missed by her family, friends and coworkers.

Lois is survived by her son, Mark (Felicidad) Morris of Whiteland; brother, Francis (Diane) Stombaugh of Lafayette; grand children Patrick, Anna and Lisa Morris; great grandchildren, Braydon and Grayson Mullins; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard and Donald Stombaugh; sisters, Helen Morrison, Rosemary Dietz, Phyllis Phelps, Barbara and Louise.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Lois and the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
