Lois G. Davis, 94, 76, went to be with the Lord on August 26th. She was born August 13, 1923 in Indianapolis, IN to Mark and Ethel Honeycutt Weaver.

Lois attended School #41, and graduated from Shortridge High School in 1941. Her passion was cooking and baking, for her family and for church activities. She was a member of Gray Road Baptist Church, and attended Bible Study Fellowship for over 20 years. Lois served as executive secretary at Meridian Mutual Insurance and had also worked in the front office for Dr. Duane Hauser.

She married the late William E. Davis in 1943, and they had 3 children: Michael (Shirley) Davis of Damascus, MD; the late Mark (Cathy) Davis of St. Leonard, MD; and Kristi (Donald) Johnson of Danville, IN. She had eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband and son, Lois was preceded in death by brothers, Norman, Ira, Will and Mark Weaver and sisters, Marianne Dorville and Doris White.

Viewing will take place Thursday, August 31st at Gray Road Baptist Church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN. Forest Lawn Funeral Home assisting with arrangements.
