Lola T. Murrell, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away September 7, 2015. Born December 11, 1935 in Sullivan, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy (Martin) Padgett.
She was a 1953 graduate of Pleasantville High school. She married Edwin Murrell in March of 1959 in Indianapolis. After retiring from Rytex Company in Indianapolis, she worked for Delp Printing in Indianapolis. She enjoyed yard work, crafts, gardening and canning.

She is survived by two sons, Edwin (Carolyn) Murrell Jr., and Calvin (Shannan) Murrell; daughter, Vera Murrell; two sisters, Dorothy Knapp, and JoAnn Frost; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by; her husband; son, Francis Murrell, and sister, Norma Smith.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
