Lonney Ross Breedlove, of Indianapolis, passed away July 17, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 6, 1941 to Forrest Edsel and Opal Louise (Sensel) Breedlove.

Lonney was a graduate of Emmerich Manual Training High School, 1959, and played basketball with the Manual Redksins.

Lonney honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves from 1961 – 1966 and was garrisoned at Camp Lejeune, Parris Island, S.C.  He was a member of the 2 ^nd Communications Company and supported the Nation's "Force in Readiness."

He is survived by his son, Damon Ross (Kim Bayne) Breedlove, brother Dennis (Marilyn) Breedlove; and granddaughters Megan Breedlove and Andrea Breedlove.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 12:00 pm, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood, with visitation from 10:00 AM until the start of service. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn, Benjamin Franklin Chapel Annex.
