Loraine Marianos (Hatfield), 96, was born in Knifley, Kentucky on March 10, 1921 to Brent and Mary Hatfield.  She was the oldest of five children.  Loraine graduated from Knifley High School in 1940 and on January 22, 1942 married James N. For more than 25 years, Loraine and Jim had a weekend house on Cordry-Sweetwater Lake in southern Indiana which was the site of many fun holidays with family and friends.  Following in the footsteps of her mother, Loraine was an accomplished quilter.  Her quilts have kept many loved ones warm for generations.

Following their move to Tucson, Loraine enjoyed golf and bocce ball as well as spending time with her son Don and his wife Kathy who live in Pinetop, Arizona. She loved to have guests visit from all parts of the country and was a great hostess to all who came to spend time at her home.
