Loren F. Clapper, 82, of Indianapolis passed away at home in the care of his loving children into the arms of Jesus on March 27, 2013. He was born June 18, 1930 in New Palestine, IN to the late Albert and Grace (Phares) Clapper. He married Elenora Singhurst "Babe" Dec. 1, 1951; she preceded him in death in 2011. Loren was a painter, and owner/operator of Clapper & Sons Painting in Indianapolis. He is survived by two sons,
Fred (Becky) Clapper, Dennis (Cheryle) Clapper; a daughter, Lorna (Scott) Johnson; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Also preceding him in death; two daughters, Linda Souders, and Sonjia Clapper; six brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be Monday April 1, 2013, 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood. Visitation 11:00 a.m. until time of service Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to the family.
