Lori J. McAvene, 62, Franklin, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, with her husband of 31 years, son, daughter, and daughter-in-law by her side. Lori was born on February 7, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Walter (Walt) Eby Sr. and Mary Eby (Stafford).

After meeting her husband, Bob, they began their entrepreneurial endeavors in owning multiple bars within Indianapolis and Greenfield, IN. Lori was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
Lori was an amazing unselfish woman. She had a big heart and cared so deeply for others, however she was a firecracker and knew when to stand up for herself and others. Lori has been a long time Indianapolis COLTS fan.
Lori is survived by her loving husband Bob McAvene; loving children Ron (Tina) Hill, and Cheri (no spouse as usual) Hill; grandsons that were the sparkle of her eye Brycen Hill and Kieran Lynn; siblings Pam (Scott) Jordan, Karen Delk, & Wally (Sherry) Eby; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family; her beloved dog Coopy Poopy and grandpups Stewart, Stanley, & Walter.
