Lorraine J. Henry, 90, of Greenwood passed away October 3, 2018. She was born February 23, 1928 in Gary, IN to Andrew and Florence Schiesser.

Lorraine's personality cannot be expressed in words. She loved being around and serving people, she never met a stranger. She worked as the banquet captain at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Lotus Garden in Greenwood and was a greeter at Wal-Mart in Greenwood. She received the Rose award twice for excellent service in the hospitality industry. Lorraine married her loving husband, Francis in 1969 and they were married for 31 years until his passing in 2000. She was a practicing Catholic and attended Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francis O. Henry; parents, Andrew and Florence Schiesser; step son, Bill (Beverly) Henry and step daughter, Carolyn (Jim) Boys.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Rick (Stephanie) Henry; daughter, Renea (Eddie) Murray; step son, Jim (Linda) Henry; step daughter, MaryLou (Ron) Nutt; sister, Shirley (Byron) Kendall; grandchildren, Scott, Beth, Ashley, Christopher, Cole; great grandchildren, Porter, Mackenzie, Jordan, Carl and Mattie and great great grandchildren, Alice and Greg.
