Lorrie Renee Biro, 57, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep from natural causes on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Lorrie was born on August 15, 1968, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Shirley Claywell and William Stivers. She grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Emmerich Manual High School.

On May 1, 1987, Lorrie married Robert Sidney Biro, II. Together, they shared 28 years of marriage and built a life centered around their family until Robert’s passing on May 2, 2015.

Lorrie’s greatest joy was being a mother and “Grammy.” She loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure and devoted herself to making each of them feel deeply loved and special. Every year, she made each child their own birthday cake and a meal prepared especially for them. She also had a gift for making Christmas magical and creating traditions her family will cherish forever.

Lorrie had a true servant’s heart. She was compassionate, genuine, honest, generous, and grounded in integrity. She consistently put the needs of others before her own and had a rare ability to make people feel loved, cared for, seen, and heard. Her home was always open, and everyone who entered knew there was a place for them.

She loved to cook, garden, play euchre and Skip-Bo, and spend time with family and friends playing cornhole. No matter what she was doing, Lorrie’s greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people she loved. Her contagious laugh brought warmth and joy to every room.

Lorrie was a trusted source of wisdom and guidance for her family. They relied on her judgment so deeply that “WWLB - What would Lorrie Biro do?” became a beloved family saying. It reflected the way she lived her life - with compassion, wisdom, honesty, and an unwavering commitment to doing what was right. Her family will continue to carry her words, her values, and her example with them always.

Lorrie is survived by her children, Abbie Lynn Bledsoe (husband - Phillip), Devan Christine Brown (husband - Calyb), and Robert Sidney Biro, III (wife - Sierra); her beloved grandchildren, Easton, Cruz, Emmie, Jack, Charlie, Belle, and Maverick; her stepmother, Linda Stivers; her siblings, Debbie Lock, John Robson, Sam Long, Bill Stivers, and Tim Stivers; and many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sidney Biro, II; her parents, Shirley Claywell and William Stivers; and her siblings, Wendy Stivers, Ryan Long, and Ron Robson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana. The funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at noon. Lorrie will be laid to rest beside her husband, Robert, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Lorrie will be deeply missed, but the love she gave, the traditions she created, and the wisdom she shared will continue to live on in every person fortunate enough to have known her.
