Louise Duncan Haleman, age 92, of Indianapolis, Indiana, went to be with Jesus on February 23, 2017.
The daughter of Jim and Hallie Mae (Duncan) Duncan, Louise was born August 10, 1924 in Dixon, Kentucky.
She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Painter, Linda Davis and Shirley (Cliff) Davidson; two sisters, Thelma Winstead and Kathleen (David) Shew; six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester T. Haleman; brothers, James, David, Billy, Delois, E.D. and infant, J.D. Duncan; sister, Glenda Stevenson; great granddaughter, Lynsey Painter.
Louise was a homemaker and retired from St. Francis Hospital as a CNA and O.B. Technician. She was vibrant, smiling and involved in many activities throughout her life: church, bowling, ceramics, crafts, gardening, reading and square dancing. She was a great spiritual support for her family. Her sweet smile and positive, loving attitude will be greatly missed. We love you, Mother.

There was a private, family ceremony held at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
