Louise Stahl, 96, of Beech Grove passed away December 29, 2016. She was born in Feltre, Italy on November 19, 1920 to Louis and Mary Turrin.

Louise came to the United States from Italy at the age of 7. She grew up in Kokomo, IN and lived in Rushville and Beech Grove after marriage. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove. Louise was an astonishing homemaker, a wonderful cook, and was flawless when it came to sewing.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Bernard Stahl; son, Leonard Stahl; brother, Gusto Turrin and sister, Dora Peterson.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann (Danny) Pennington and Joanne Stahl; sister, Rena Newburn; grandchildren, Eric Pennington, Emily Pennington and Justin Stahl and great granddaughter, Kylie Pennington.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 4 at 11:00 am in Holy Name Catholic Church, 89 N. 17th Ave., Beech Grove, IN 46107. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alzheimer''s Association, 50 E. 91st St., Suite #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
