Mr. Lowell Haste, Greenwood, passed away on the early afternoon of Friday, March 17, 2023 at Franciscan Hospice House. He was 74. Lowell was born April 10, 1948 in Casey County, Kentucky, a son of the late Henry Earl and Gladys (Martin) Haste.
Lowell attended Casey County High School in Liberty, Kentucky and was a member of the graduating Class of 1966. He had been employed at Arvin Industries for 21 years and at General Motors for 13 years as a tool and die maker before retiring in 2004. He loved old cars and country music but most of all he loved his family.
Lowell is survived by his wife of 54 years, Alma Joyce (White) Haste; his children, Christopher Lowell (Anna) Haste and Leah Caitlin (Brian) Betts; his grandson, Felix Alexander Betts; his siblings; Jewell (Jerry) Flake and David Haste; his niece, Amy Hogan (Darrell Key) as well as a great-niece, Anna Grace Key.
A private graveside service will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens where burial will immediately follow.
