Lucy Rogers, age 90, of Nashville, Indiana, formerly of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away October 22, 2017 at the Franklin United Methodist Community. The daughter of Claude and Susie Saylor Brock, Lucy was born July 20, 1927 in Pineville, Kentucky.

A homemaker, she loved gardening and would can the fruits of her hard labor. She also raised cows.

Lucy is survived by sons, Charles Brock of Nashville and Earsel C. (Janet) Rogers, Jr. of Greenwood; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Earsel C. Rogers, Sr., one brother and seven sisters.

A private burial service will take place at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood is entrusted with arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association.
