Luella R. Losey, age 89, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010. She was born August 26, 1921 in Streater, Illinois to Burley and Lillian (Wilk) Rork. She was a member of Bluff Creek Christian Church for 50 years, and retired from Blue Cross-Blue Shield in 1977. Luella was an avid reader, and loved crossword puzzles, playing cards, telling jokes, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Richard) Smithey, of Morgantown, IN; son, Roy (Wanda) Losey, of Las Vegas, NV; brother, Wayne Rork, of Fairberry, IL; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; daughter Elzena Patterson; great grandson Colin Edmundowicz; sisters, Dorothy Crouch, Louise Borders, and Ruth Ernst; brother Raymond Rork. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 6 at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 AM until service time. Memorial Contribution may be made to Bluff Creek Christian Church Building Fund.
