Anita Snow Moore, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away January 16, 2017. The daughter of Jewett and Sallie Mae Crockett Snow, Anita was born June 12, 1934 in Monroe County, Indiana.
She and her husband owned and operated Custom Models, Inc. for 41 years, retiring in 2006. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, shopping, crossword puzzles, and playing Bridge and Euchre. However, her greatest joy was caring for her family.
Anita is survived by sons, Larry G. (Doris) Moore of Camby, Jon W. (LaKay) Moore of Senatobia, MS; daughters, Mary L. Marlow of Indianapolis, Sally A. Young of Indianapolis, Caryn E. (John) Stillman of Plainfield, IL and Lara P. (Jeff) Czap of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Jinger Moore Garrison of Indianapolis; brothers, Jewett "Bud" (Jean) Snow, Jr. of Riverview, FL, Marvin (Nina) Snow of Waynesville, NC and Reginald Snow of Greenwood; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Moore; son, David C. Moore and son-in-law, Kenneth E. Young, Jr.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. January 22, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Funeral services 10:30 a.m. January 23, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
