Donna Padgett. 91, of Noblesville, formerly of Greenwood, died July 18, 2016. The daughter of Charles L. and Gladys B. (Wooley) Hedde, Donna was born May 21, 1925 in El Dorado, Kansas.

After 30 years of teaching, she retired from Beech Grove City schools. Donna was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church, former member of Greenwood First United Methodist Church and volunteered at Community Hospital South. Donna enjoyed traveling around the United States and overseas and as part of her travels, would collect a bell.

Donna is survived by her son, Mike Cannon of Indianapolis; her daughters, Melinda (John) Haack of Muncie, Cheryl Beck of Bargersville, Shirley (Bill) Padgett of Noblesville and Karen (Kent) Baker of Fort Wayne; brother, Charles (Wanda) Hedde of Vincennes; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, whom she married on December 14, 1968 in Hammond, Indiana and son, Alan Padgett.

Services 11:30 a.m. July 23, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
