Mr. Mack Vancel Cherry, Indianapolis, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, July 15, 2025. He was 83 years old. Mack was born September 20, 1941 in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, a son of the late Bransford L. and Brillie J. (Rush) Cherry.

Mack had been employed with John Sexton Foods as a team leader until his retirement after over 30 years of service.
Mack is survived by his son, Vancel R. Cherry; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his siblings, Royce Cherry, Lourena Davis, Lois Hudson, Joyce Staffey, Lennis Cherry and Garnet Cherry as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his wife, Wanda Cherry; his son, Kenneth Cherry and his sister, Wandie Waterman.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
