Mae M. Pryor, of Indianapolis, passed away Aug. 8. She was born July 17, 1930 in Rickman, TN to Christopher C. and Mandy (Cox) Nelson. Mae was an assembler at RCA, retiring after 34 years and had also worked at McDonalds for many years. Mae was an avid basketball fan. She married Arlis E. Pryor on Nov. 10, 1950 and he preceded her in death Oct. 15, 1979. She is survived by her daughters; Janie(David) Coffey, of Greenwood, and Judy Kennedy, Indianapolis; former son-in-law, Brian Kennedy; sisters, Christeen (Horace Lee) Harris and Eathlene Haste; four grandchildren, Melissa Coffey, Michelle (Daniel) Cruse, Cody and Derek Kennedy and one great granddaughter, Ella Mae Cruse. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Carrie Cathlean Nelson, and five brothers; Cecil, Odean, Eugene, Edward and Riley Nelson. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug 13, at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with Pastor Charlie Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.
