Maggie Pearl Holiday, age 77, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born December 15, 1936 in London, KY to Charles W. and Lulla Jane (Tuttle) Overbey. Maggie was a cashier at Wm. H. Block for 19 years. She was an avid Pacer fan who loved to fish and to spend time with her grandchildren. She also loved her birds and her dog, Bear. Maggie was a member of American Legion Post # 88 and she will be sorely missed by all who know and love her.
Maggie is survived by her sons, Charles N. Bishop, Michael R. Bishop and Robert A. (Rebbecca) Bishop; daughters, Marcia J. (Dale) Biggerstaff and Juanita R. Banks; sister, Anegeline Cheek; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one on the way; 10 nieces and nephews and many grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Troy, Roscoe, and Jim Overbey; sister, Dorothy Pope.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
