Malcolm (Mac) Keith Hershberger of Greenwood, IN was born on July 19th, 1944 and left us on May 3, 2020. He was born at Jasper County Hospital, where just five days later, Nancy Marie Jordan was born. It took another 22 years before they began their lives together.

Mac was raised to be a golfer, working at Curtis Creek Country Club, then going on to play for St. Joseph's College and throughout his life. He found his niche as a mortgage lender for 5/3 bank in Indianapolis, where he worked until his retirement in 2009. Mac was an active member of Greenwood Christian Church and was proud of his faith. He was a Chicago Bears, Pacers and Purdue fan, and he enjoyed playing euchre and bridge in the company of dear friends.

Mac will always be the blessed husband of Nancy, the proud father to Bryan (and Jennifer Hershberger) and Marla (and Dirk Pruitt), and loving Papaw/Papa to Mackenna, Ryan and Dylan Pruitt and Owen and Amelia Hershberger, who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Gaylord (Hersh) Hershberger and brother Dennis (Denny) Ray Hershberger.

Mac's immediate family will remember him this week in a private service. Family and friends will be invited to join us for a summer memorial. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to Greenwood Christian Church (2045 Averitt Road Greenwood, IN) or the Alzheimer's Association.
