Malinda "Mindy" E. Fisher Boyd, 70, of Indianapolis, died May 19, 2015. The daughter of Willis Edward and Doris Marie Adams Fisher, Mindy was born February 20, 1945 in Cory, Indiana.

She retired in 2004 from Chase Bank as a customer service representative. Previously, she worked as head cashier for Great Scot Supermarket for 13 years and as head cashier for Preston Safeway for 13 years. For several years, she was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Mindy enjoyed doing arts and crafts, knitting and cross stitching and painting.

Mindy is survived by her husband, Larry D. Boyd of Indianapolis, whom she married on July 11, 1964 in Terre Haute; son, Jay A. (Monica) Boyd of Greenwood; daughter, Lorray L. (Matthew) Cary of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Shelby (Nathan) Smith of Indianapolis, Cameron Cary of Indianapolis and Hunter Boyd of Greenwood; brothers, Mike (Anya) Fisher, Russ (Patricia) Fisher and Steve (Tracey) Fisher, all of Terre Haute; sister, Rachel Denny of Terre Haute. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Fisher.

Funeral services 12:00 noon May 23, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
