Margaret "Pete" Elaine Cunningham passed away peacefully in her sleep December 14, 2016. She was born in Beech Grove, IN to Henry Hubbard and Laverne (Hubbard) Brown.

Pete graduated from Beech Grove High School. In 1948 she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, James, and they enjoyed 61 years together. Pete enjoyed golfing, playing BINGO and slot machines and traveling. She worked for Greenwood National Bank and retired after 20 years of service. Pete was easily recognizable by her 1967 gold convertible firebird that she enjoyed droving for many years.

Pete was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard and loving husband, James Cunningham.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (JoAnn) and Jeff (Peggy) Cunningham; niece, Bernita (Bill) Gregory; grandchildren, Brook (Dave) Snyder, Peyton, Karlee, Madison, Aiden, Kellon and Dane Cunningham, Bill Gregory Jr. and Kelly (Jeff) Luster and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19 from 10 am - 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
