Margaret Mathis, 86, of Indianapolis, died Friday, October 3, 2008. She was born on April 10, 1922 to Sam and Sarah Vance Riddle. She enjoyed sewing, watching, The Price is Right and taking care of her family. Survivors include her children: James (JoAnn) Hall, Kathy Kimbley, David (Shelia) Mathis, Shirley Spencer, and Wanda Peed, brothers: Willie and Ernie Riddle, sisters: Eva, Ruth, Nadine and Naomi, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grand children and 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Leonard D. Mathis, 3 brothers: Nez, Sam and Calvin, 1 sister: Rosettie. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
