Margaret Ogden, Greenwood, passed away on December 11, 2022. She was 95 years old. Margaret was born in Indianapolis to her parents Phillip Charles Purpura and Mabel Caroline (Bruns) Purpura. She graduated from Manual High School, class of 1945. Margaret married her husband, Reuben, in 1953 and together they shared 62 years of marriage together.
Margaret worked as an OB tech for St.Francis hospital and retired after many years of service. Margaret was a member of Glenns Valley United Methodist Church with her husband for many years. Margaret was a member of the Red Hat Club and was very active in the Social of Greenwood Club at the Greenwood Senior Center. Margaret liked to crochet and sew all different kinds of projects, most recently, blankets to be donated to the homeless. Margaret enjoyed playing cards; her favorite games to play were bridge and super samba. Margaret's amazing sense of humor and loving nature will be cherished by those she leaves behind.
Margaret is survived by her children Guy (Jennifer) Ogden and Cindy Ogden; her grandchildren, Heather Able, Brandon Ogden, Zach Jedamzik, Nathan Goode, Corey Goode, Jesse Goode, and Jake Goode; her 7  great grandchildren; her 1 niece and 2 nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Reuben Ogden; her daughter, Cheryl Jedamzik; her siblings, Phylis Ewing, Imogene Tutterow, and Charles Purpura.
The service will be held privately at a later date for the family.
