Obituary

Margaret Pauline Griffin, 94, of Auburn, passed away Monday, September 9, 2013. She lived most of her life in Johnson and Shelby Counties in Indiana. For the past 15 months she has been in the loving care of her granddaughter, Tammy Lauer and friends, Theresa and Vincent "Butch" Kenworthy. She was born March 28, 1919 in Samaria, IN to Richard V. and Milvina (Wilkerson) Pitcher. She was a farm wife, homemaker, factory worker and was of the Baptist faith.
Margaret was preceded in death by 2 husbands, Cecil E. DeBaun and Charles Griffin; her parents, and was the last surviving of 15 children having lost 14 brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a daughter and son, Sylvia Sue Bush of Greenwood and Michael W (Margareta) DeBaun of The Villages, FL; 2 grandchildren, Tammy (Ray) Lauer of Auburn, Ty Lee (Lisa) Bush of Greenwood; 7 great grandchildren, Amber Lauer, Amanda Lauer, Raina Bush, Justin Bush, Andon Behn, John Russell and Sam Russell; 2 great great grandchildren, Damion Horn and Keanu "Little Pete" Garcia; four nieces and a nephew, Alma Jean Winger, Phyllis Shelton, Sandy Hardin, Vickie Holmes and Richard (Fern) Ratliff.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 until service time at the funeral home.
