Margaret (Mardee) Musick Hunleth Shepherd, 71, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2009, after a year-long battle with cancer, fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church. She was born January 12, 1938 in St. Mardee is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Gerard ( Jerry) Shepherd, and children Scott ( Tracy) Shepherd, Christine Good, Lisa (Fritz) Wurster, Tract Parker, and by her six grandchildren, Maggie Shepherd, Jessica Shepherd, Corey Shepherd, Jeffery Parker, William Wurster and Riley Parker. She is survived by her brother, Frank J. (Lois) Hunleth, and numerous nephews, nieces and relatives. Her spirit lives on in the lives of all she touched. Visitation will be Thursday, March 19th From 4pm to 8pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood with a rosary service at 7:30pm. A 10am Mass will be held on Friday, March 20th at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church. Interment will be on Saturday, March 21st at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood. In lieu of of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Hospice, Indianapolis or Indiana University Simon Cancer Center.
