Margaret Jane Weddle, 86 of Greenwood passed away January 13, 2013 at her residence.
She was born February 17, 1926 in Indianapolis, the daughter of John and Margaret (Burke) Willis. Margaret was a 1944 graduate of Whiteland High School. On August 30, 1947, she married Dallas Weddle; he preceded her in death in 1992. She worked as a bookkeeper in the banking industry. She was a member of Honey Creek United Methodist Church, and choir member. She was a member of the Greenwood Order of The Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting at Greenwood United Methodist Church and spending time with family. She is survived by two sons, Edward (Sandy) Weddle, and Don (Karen) Weddle; a daughter, Monta (John) Somerville; two brothers, John and Don Willis; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 17, 2013, 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Greenwood, with Pastor Brad Miller officiating Visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service on Thursday. Memorial contributions can be made to a Veterans organization of your choice.
