Margarete Emma "Marti" Wilson , age 86, of Greenwood passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Margarete was born February 20, 1929 in Grazlitz, Silberbach, Germany, now Czechoslovakia, to Ludwig and Agnes (Busch) Ernstberger. She graduated from high school in Germany and married Willie T. Wilson in Germany on October 30, 1948. Willie preceded her in death on February 20, 2012.

Marti was a homemaker who loved music, crocheting, knitting and making clothes for her children when they were younger. She also worked for a few years at Kingan Meats, which later was bought by Ballpark Franks. She and Willie also were members of the Greenwood V.F.W. and the Greenwood Moose Lodge. She leaves behind her loving son, Ralph (Leslie) Wilson, of Mooresville; daughter, Jolantha Moody of Greenwood; grandchildren, Angie Moody, of Indianapolis, Tory (Stephanie) Taylor, of New Whiteland, Bryon (Sandy) Wilson, of Indianapolis, Ross Wilson of Mooresville, and Jenna Wilson, of Camby; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
